What We Do The Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Georgia (AAA) provides information on and access to home and community-based services for elderly and/or disabled Georgians, their families, and other caregivers. The Gateway system seeks to remove barriers to information about and access to services, which support older and disabled Georgians remaining in their homes and communities. The AAA provides seniors opportunities to maintain their activity, independence, and dignity through a comprehensive, coordinated system of services and support. The AAA assesses need, advocates for seniors, engages community support, coordinates program funding, and monitors and evaluates the work of service providers to ensure that seniors receive high quality assistance. To refer someone for eligibility screening, please have them call our Gateway at 1-800-759-2963 or 706-802-5506, or download the referral form. The form is now fillable so that you can type the information directly onto the form for printing. Please submit completed forms by fax to 706-802-5508 or mail to the address on the form. Please note that the client and/or primary caregiver MUST sign the form to certify that they are interested in services. Faxed referrals are second priority to telephone calls and will delay the application process. You can now search for services in your area online! Simply go to GeorgiaServicesForSeniors.org. Of course, if you can't find what you're looking for, you can still call our Gateway for more information. Just dial 1-800-759-2963.
